A week of courting
This past week has been an eventful and unforgettable time at our home. Our beloved Molly welcomed a familiar friend — the charming male dog named Sami, who came to stay with us during her heat cycle. The goal was to achieve a successful mating, but it wasn’t as straightforward as we’d hoped.
For both Molly and Sami, this was their first time, and the process didn’t come naturally right away. It took patience, persistence, and a lot of support from all of us. After several days of trial and error — and plenty of playful moments in between — they finally managed to pair successfully twice. This gives us about a 90% chance that puppies are on the way.
It was an intense week for everyone involved, filled with both challenges and sweet moments. Molly and Sami showed incredible resilience and trust in each other. They played together, rested side by side, and built a genuine bond that made the experience more than just about breeding.
Now, we wait with hopeful anticipation, knowing we’ve done everything we could to give nature a helping hand. Fingers crossed that this effort brings us the sound of tiny paws in the near future!
